Rubato International Warranty

Your Rubato timepiece is protected by the Rubato International Warranty for a period of twelve (12) months from the original date of purchase — subject to the terms and conditions of this limited warranty. If you become aware of any defect in the dial, movement, or hands of your timepiece during the warranty period and the same is verified by the Rubato Authorised Service Centre, the component will be repaired or replaced by Rubato without charge. The said defect may occur due to wear and tear or a previously undetected manufacturing flaw.

Timepieces acquired from unauthorised distributors, websites other than www.shoprubato.com, or modified by the retailer or consumer are not assured by Rubato™. Rubato does not authorise any retailer or website to extend the period of this limited warranty. 

Additional legal rights may be applicable under law which are not affected by the terms of the Rubato International Warranty. These rights may vary from state to state and country to country.

Kindly note, your Rubato International Warranty does not cover the following: 

• Batteries, bracelets, straps, glass or crystals, and electroplating. 

• Any damages incurred by improper use, lack of maintenance, tampering, abuse, or handling of any component of the Rubato timepiece not in line with the instructions included with your purchase.

• Any damages sustained by your timepiece due to contact with water.

• Any damages caused by an accident or mishap. 

• Any factor other than wear and tear or a previously undetected manufacturing flaw.

If the Rubato timepiece is opened, repaired, or altered by any entity other than the Rubato Authorised Service Centre during your warranty period, your Rubato International Warranty will be considered void. 

Warranty Card

All Rubato timepieces are sold with a warranty card indicating the serial number of the timepiece along with the location and date of purchase. To obtain repair or replacement of components under the Rubato International Warranty, please ensure that the same is verified by the shopping retailer or online store at the time of purchase. 

Registration Of Your Timepiece

Rubato strongly recommends you register your timepiece at www.shoprubato.com at the time of purchase or any time before your warranty expires. You can do the same by filling in the Watch Registration Form and uploading an image of your stamped warranty booklet.

Kindly note, a repair or replacement request of an unregistered Rubato timepiece will entail longer processing times.

Obtaining Service Under The Rubato International Warranty 

Please reach out to us at contact@shoprubato.com or fill in the Customer Service Form to obtain repair or replacement services under the Rubato International Warranty. 

In order for smooth and swift processing of your request, please include the following in the email:

• Purchase receipt

• Order number

• Defect description and picture(s)

• Your first and last name

• Your current home or office address for delivery of the repaired timepiece

• Your current telephone number

• Your email registered with Rubato

You will receive a repair authorisation number from our customer service team within fifteen (15) days with further instructions about dispatching your timepiece.

If your timepiece is not registered at www.shoprubato.com, kindly include the stamped warranty card with your timepiece when you courier or present it for repair or replacement of the dial/movement/hands under the Rubato International Warranty.

In case of replacement Rubato cannot guarantee the availability of the same component as utilised in your timepiece. In such a situation, a substitute of your timepiece will be provided that is of equal value and similar style. The warranty for the replacement timepiece is applicable for twelve (12) months from the date you receive it. 

Shipping For Repair Or Replacement Under The Rubato International Warranty

When sending your Rubato timepiece to the Rubato Authorised Service Centre via courier, ensure it is packaged carefully to avoid any damage during shipping. Do not include any special watchband or personal item in the package as Rubato is not liable for its return. 

Please note that the Rubato International Warranty does not cover the cost of shipping and handling for repair or replacement. You will be liable to pay all transport costs, estimated and unforeseen.

Additional Charges

If the battery in your timepiece is found to be depleted at the time of service, you will be notified of the same and with your consent the battery will be replaced at an additional charge.

In case your warranty is determined to be expired or void post-arrival of the timepiece at the Rubato Authorised Service Centre, you will be charged for the services acquired.
